Siz­ing

A Step Ahead Col­lar can be made in a vari­ety of sizes and widths.  To order a col­lar that fits, it is import­ant to accur­ately meas­ure your dog.

Small			Whip­pets			11 – 15″
Medium			Grey­hounds			13 – 18″
Large			Boxer			15 – 20″

Siz­ing Directions

1. Meas­ure the widest point around your dog’s head.  This is the most import­ant meas­ure­ment if your dog is not a sight hound.  The mar­tin­gale does not have a buckle, so it must slip over the widest part of the head.
2. Meas­ure right behind the ears.  This is how snug the col­lar should tighten if the dog pulls or backs up.
3. Meas­ure the point around the neck where you’d like your col­lar to rest.

To select a size, choose the largest dimen­sion of your 3 meas­ure­ments.  For example, if you meas­ure: 1) 18″, 2) 16″, and 3) 17″, then choose size Large to eas­ily slide over the dog’s head.  The col­lar then can be adjus­ted to fit more snugly around his neck.

Ship­ping and Handling

Cal­gary, Edmon­ton, and Red Deer:  If time is not crit­ical, col­lars can be trans­por­ted to these three cen­ters to be picked up by the cus­tomer at no charge.

Canada & Inter­na­tional: Pur­chases are shipped via Canada Post reg­u­lar air­mail.  Deliv­ery is within 6  –  10 days of the ship­ping date unless the order is hung up in cus­toms.  Cost of ship­ping depends on the size of the order.  You will be given an estim­ate prior to your pur­chase being shipped.
